Given that the log shows that 1920x1080 is detected, but xrandr doesn't,
this is clearly an RandR issue. I don't understand why the higher
resolution is nuked.
I would have to try to reproduce that here, but ATM we're all pretty
swamped. Eventually I'd like to isolate these RandR issues anyway, so it
would be great if you could create a bug report on freedesktop.org (if
you haven't done already, and attach the log files there - that way it
isn't lost, though it's also a bit out of focus. CC me in the bug.
In the HDMI only case, the resolution is set to - hold your grip -
720x400... No wonder your monitor isn't capable of displaying
anything...
Ah.
I found something.
(II) RADEONHD(0): clock: 148.5 MHz Image Size: 160 x 90 mm
Apparently your monitor is one of those that has a wrong interpretation
of these fields (16cm:9cm instead of 16:9). Try specifying a full
monitor section for DVD-D_1, including the monitor size and a preferred
mode. RandR has this braindead idea of trying to set a mode that
achieves a dpi of 96 if you don't specify a preferred mode...

I read that AMD has released the AtomBIOS disassembler under GPL. Does
anyone knonw where I can find it?
I also found the AtomDis from Matthias, but I am having difficulty
git-clone'ing it via http://anongit.freedesktop.org. I have to use http
because that is the only way I can get through our firewall, but I keep
getting an error:
fatal: http://anongit.freedesktop.org/git/~mhopf/AtomDis/info/refs not
found: did you run git update-server-info on the server?
Is there something inherently wrong with what I am doing? Do I have the
URL right? I have no trouble git cloning the radeonhd driver via http.

Hi,
The attached patch fixes the issue of blurry images under Xv, compared
to unaccelerated rendering.
The texture sampler for CbCr used to be configured to use bilinear
interpolation when upscaling. This results in a smoothing of the
chroma channels, and is perceived as being blurry when a lot of sharp
changes in colour is present. Simply flip the bits to use
nearest-point interpolation instead.

Hi,I have a MSI DKA790GX Platinum MB (AMD® SB750+790GX with 1Gbit
sideport memory). The sideport memory can be disabled by bios. The system
is very unstable (X lockups), with "exa" and "DRI" options,
while sideport are enabled. Xorg`s logs with and without sideport memory

Remove no interlaced modes limitation from TMDS outputs.
This patch removes the limitation of displaying no interlaced modes from
the TMDS outputs. Since interlaced modes are just a matter of CRTC
programming this makes them work out of the box.

Randr HDMI property
Adds an HDMI property to randr and while we are at it rework the
property handling a bit. Also adds an RHDOutputAttachConnector function
which is called every time an output <-> connection relation is changed.

Cleanup and include true/false as match in RhdParseBooleanOption

Update RHDAudioInit to include RS600, RS690 and RS740
RHDAudioInit decides from the chipset type if there is an audio engine.
This commit changes this test to include more chipsets. It should be
removed entirely when i figure out how to get this information from
atombios.

Hi guys,
attached are 5 patches, which as far as i can see can go into mainline.
The first 4 are laying around in my personal repository for quite some
time now, and the last is a small change to the hdmi stuff in the
manpage from Rafał Miłecki.
Can anybody please commit them?
