ASUS card not recognized (ASUS 256MB RADEON HD 2400XT)

Hi, the X server log says to send the log to you. The card works with the vesa driver at the moment (I dont want to use glrx unless really required) but your driver recognizes the R610 chipset but not the card itself. Hello, I got hold of a digital camera and so I tried to take some shots of my screen running at 1600x1200. The pictures are not very good, but maybe they will be enough to outline the problem. I join one of them. Ask if you want more because it seems that the mailing list is picky with attachments... Also, the size of the screen is now wrong : the right part of the KDE destkop is truncated. And to paramount the problems, I can't switch anymore the resolution with ctrl+alt+KP_+. Sincerely, savi.

I think you do the following: cd xf86-video-radeonhd/utils/conntest ./rhd_conntest -d It should spit out some file similar to "791F.103C.30C2.vga.rom" in that directory.
