Anyways, this could be even a feedback platform.
I guess this would be the best part of idea; to add ability to give feedback directly in OBS, not somewhere on the net. Few days ago I commented in opensuse-packaging that what is missing very often is user feedback on some packages that compile fine, install fine, but have sometimes bugs that prevent software from being used. I can file bug report, but it is in bugzilla. Nothing in OBS tells packager that there is a bugzilla report. If I'm lucky packager will have time, look at bugzilla and use right search to have report listed, but with so many conditions chance that report will find right person is slim. Having integrated messaging system is much better option. Packager will get message when logged in, or via email, and instead of thinking that there is no problems, and start looking for something else to do, will look how to fix package, or how to pull it out of circulation until it is fixed. People will be able to post links to articles in forums, mail lists, blogs, and packager will have references at hand instead to chase them around the web. -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
