I don't think Bugzilla is entirely broken... many more would see / feel this as an issue.
It turns out that it is suse mail service that is broken. They have implemented an SPF definition that does not include mx2.suse.de (and maybe others). Thus when my ISP sees those emails they get correctly rejected: Diagnostic-Code: X-Postfix; host tnetmx.telefonica.net[213.4.149.227] said: 550 5.1.0 <...@suse.com> sender rejected (SPF Hard Fail) (in reply to MAIL FROM command) But it distresses me that I had to post here to get attention to my Bugzilla. And there is no word yet on the Bugzilla on when they may correct this.
Login to Bugzilla, go to Preferences (top bar) then email preferences.
You can enable / disable as many mail options as you wish to receive.
http://paste.opensuse.org/78664195 shows the settings I have on my account for example (they are, as far as I remember, not entirely the default... but work well for me).
Thanks. I have looked there myself several times and could not find anything wrong. I compared to your's, and I have even more options active than you do.
PS: I wouldn't be surprised if that was changed for you at the time there was a 'complaint' that you got mail from Attachmate you did not want to receive (remember http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-project/2012-12/msg00257.html ?)
Ha! X'-) I don't think so :-) I was still getting emails from them (last two were for "Join a Data Governance Webinar" and "Novell Filr"). I had to go to the link again and change preferences on 2013-04-30. - -- Cheers, Carlos E. R.
