This exposes a current hole in the security updates with the current process. ie. Once I update a package to Tumbleweed, I get no notification of future security updates.
Greg KH, is there a conceptual plan / goal for that? Or is a Tumbleweed user just expected to do zypper dup every now and then?
Yes. Actually a "normal" 'zypper update -t package' will pull in any updated packages, that happen do have gotten updated for security fixes, or bugfixes, once the package has switched from the "base" 11.3 repo to the Tumbleweed one. So you should be fine, updates will show up normally. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-project+help@opensuse.org
