Those images you need to dd too - I'm not sure what argument that is.
If we support USB install, instructions on the "get software" page, a menu item somewhere to create the USB image, and a bit of software which automates the process would be really useful(tm) If we make life easier for people who are only comfortable with Windows GUI working, we'll get more people in the camp. It's an open camp, but we can, unintentionally, put people off.
