I read - at least I am sure that that is what I read - that one would be able to disable this UEFI-thingie if one doesn't want to use it. Meaning that if one was to only use a Linux system then one wouldn't need this crap. Is this right or wrong?
As far as I know, it is correct, it only affects those that double boot to Windows 8. And the understanding is that they would need to disable the feature to boot Linux, and reenable to boot Windows 8 - every single time. This is unverified yet.
What is not also not verified is if this is a one-way process or not. Somebody sent a screen shot indicating it is a one-way process. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (23.9°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-project+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, email: opensuse-project+owner@opensuse.org
