I can't maintain the listed packages anymore, if anyone else wants to pick them up, he should speak up now.
/me does not get it :? Internal redistribution of pakcage maintainer ship, but since our internal packagers list is gone, on the external list.
Its not really internal anymore, nowadays community members can maintain packages :)
I don't agree. In practice it's still too much hassle to "maintain" packages from the outside. I mean it's true that anyone can maintain packages in the buildservice or elsewhere but the way back into the openSUSE distribution is not defined sufficiently IMHO.
What is the prefered way to apply for package maintainer ship for the opensuse distribution (core). Coming from Ubuntu, there is a way to enter the project without any hassles. So, if it's nowadays the way to maintain an official package by community members, what is the way to apply for "official opensuse community upload rights"? Regarding my time schedule, I could take some, or push new packages into it... \sh -- Stephan Hermann eMail: sh@sourcecode.de Blog: http://linux.blogweb.de/ JID: sh@linux-server.org OSS-Developer and Admin --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
