Is there a specific type of gecko it's modeled on? dito. Sometimes I call it Chameleon and sometimes Gecko.... Could geckos change their colours too?
AFAIK, some subspecies of geckos are able to change limited their colors or color intensity.
I´ve so a miserable knowledge of animals..... It would be a pitty when the pretty cool idea with the colour changing mascott can´t be used....
It does not matter too much because maybe you are not a zoologist, animal related professional or have to deal with animals or jungle. :-)
