However, I haven't tried to diagnose why cloud-init wants to use networkd over NetworkManager. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot a microOS Tumbleweed VM with a cloud-init file (e.g cidata image) 2. Attempt to use system once it reaches the login prompt (for example, using credentials or SSH keys set in the supplied cloud-config) Actual Results: Login fails because cloud-init did not complete. No mention of the cloud-init failure is provided to the user at the console (except maybe the hostname not being configured by cloud-init) , it can only be discovered by examining the /var partition offline. For my Canon TR4550 2 in 1 printer I had to add the following packages to make this workload work: - simple-scan (it's not on flathub) - sane-backends Then I configured sane to also use escl for network attached scanners to work by uncommenting the line: #escl in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf After a reboot simpel-scan was able to detect my network printer and successfully scanned the printer test page. My configuration : Lenovo Thinkpad P14s 20Y Ryzen 4750U Opensuse MicroOs (installation from 20230209) with KDE Plasma on Wayland A brief summary of my problem : My language (choosen during the installation) and settings associated with it (date format, currency etc.) are not applied on first boot. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install MicroOS Plasma with "French" language selected during installation Actual Results: On the first boot, note that the language is set on "American English" in "Settings". All the texts are in English. Changing the language in "Country and Language" to "French" does not have any visual effect. Moreover, you need to change every item in it (Currency, Adresse, etc...) by hand. Expected Results: Having selected "French" at the first step of the installation should have set the French locales in KDE Plasma. Mitigation : By changing every item in "Country and Language" by hand. And yes ffmpegthumbs is enabled in the previews option, and other thumbnails do work just fine. one thing I noticed that when I installed mpv rpm version (just to test) video playback didnt work either....and I do have the openH264 installed. when I open an mp4 file with MPV I get "Failed to recognize file format." error and with mkv file I could get : "Failed to initialize a decoder for codec 'hevc'. Video: no video Failed to initialize a decoder for codec 'aac'. Audio: no audio No video or audio streams selected. " anyway, so I checked ffmpeg...and I notice that there was "ffmpeg-5-mini-libs" installed...so I installed the regular ffmpeg5 and that fixed it. so. I get why mini version of ffmpeg, but why rpm version of dolphin? ...okay I did notice that the flatpak version doesn't even have the option to enable video thumbnails ...so lose - lose...sigh PS. minor usability issue is that when dolphin is rpm, and you install ARK-flatpak you dont get the integration (context/service menu)...okay haven't check yet if you do get it if both are flaptak...so..sigh ---- PC spec Operating System: openSUSE MicroOS 20230222 KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.103.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 Kernel Version: 6.1.12-1-default (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 16 � AMD Ryzen 7 5700G with Radeon Graphics Memory: 15,4 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/PCIe/SSE2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

I've also tested this on the KDE variant which yields the same outcome. Current hardware: - Gigabyte Aorus 5 KE4 laptop with two deviations - Two NVMe SSDs, a WD_BLACK SN770 1TB and a Samsung MZVL21T0HCLR-00B00 (OEM PM9A1) - 64GiB (2x 32GiB) DDR4. Steps I performed during setup: - On partitioning, went through the guided proposal with disk encryption enabled. - After that, performed an expert partitioning with the current proposal. - Created a new partition on second drive with max size, role set to raw volume, and drive encrypted. - Under the Btrfs tab in the sidebar, I added the aforementioned encrypted second drive to the one created as part of the guided setup via the used devices tab. - Under Security, enabled firewall and disabled SSH service Steps performed during boot: - Entered the password when prompted for both drives - Selected default boot under Grub. - Error loops for a period of time. Afterwards the system reboots.
