Then this might be rather a (more or less) expected result, if it already existed in the past. It's the change to revert the old fix.
It's likely the same issue https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=213023 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1963717 and now it resurfaced again due to the revert in the upstream. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Sorry to wake this up - but just to be sure: "Maybe better to continue pinging on the upstream bug tracker." Who did that? I couldn't...

Just as an info: there seems to be a patch ready: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/ c42fa24b44751c62c86e98430ef915c0609a2ab8
I still have the problem with 5.18.4-1-defaul but this will obviously be solved in 5.19.* Patch is assigned to 5.19-rc3
Well, the commit above is already included in 5.18, hence if you still see the problem with 5.18.x, this isn't the exact fix. Could you check with 5.19-rc kernel in OBS Kernel:HEAD? I guess the bug still remaining there. If the problem is still in 5.19-rc, a possible fix would be the very recent one: https://lore.kernel.org/linux-acpi/20220701022529.2134-1-mario.limonciello@a... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
