[werwolf@srv] ~  sudo cat /etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-wlan0
IPADDR='XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/24' MTU='0' BOOTPROTO='static' STARTMODE='hotplug' ZONE='' WIRELESS_ESSID='MYSSID' WIRELESS_AUTH_MODE='psk' WIRELESS_MODE='ad-hoc' WIRELESS_WPA_PSK='MYPASS' WIRELESS_AP_SCANMODE='1'
How did you come up with this? To me WIRELESS_MODE looks incorrect. If you want to connect to WI-Fi Access Point it should be 'managed', which is the default. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

sorry for the long answer raspberry connects to an absolutely stupid hotspot
Hi Dmitry, sorry, but what hotspot means here[1]? In any case your issues seams WiFi configuration related and not RPi hardware related. For how to configure your WiFi, please take a look here[2] and man wicked. [1] Wikipedia: "A hotspot is a physical location where people may obtain Internet access..." my english very bad, i use google translate
I want to say that for me the problem is no longer relevant, but not because it is solved, I just abandoned wlan in favor of vlan, I cannot afford to experiment since it takes a very long time to get to the host. This configuration worked for several years and fell off during the update, so the point here is clearly not in the config.

     ;-) I will like to help you resolve this, but I am confused by technical terms that you are using. You can have Virtual LAN over WiFi too. I suppose you mean Ethernet interface on your board? Could you describe how your board is connected to internet when using "stupid hotspot" Internet -> "WiFi Router" -- WiFi --\ RPi -- Ethernet --/ -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

IMO it is. A **fix** to properly set the ad-hoc mode causes the issue. Could you please change to WIRELESS_MODE='Managed' in your ifcfg-wlan0? I think, we can close this issue then (IMO as INVALID) then. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
