2. Have kdebase4-workspace recommend kwin. That way users by default install it, but can opt not to.
In case of terminal server setups the X11 windowmanager runs often on the terminal while the kde application is served from some headless application server. This is also the case when seemlessly providing kde applications to windows desktops. So being able to opt-out of installing a window-manager makes sense.
or without [_-]) ? Are there existing lines in Fedora already? No sense in deciding for "WindowManager" when "windowmanager" is already in use by an other distro just for the need, every little bit of unification / harmonics helps.
In case the term is not already defined please consider expressing the fact that the windowmanager is for the X11 platform. (There can be expected window managers for non X11 platforms) Yours, -- martin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Damn Right! Not just 'makes sense' but "is the way things should be done". That being said, trying to set op a headless server without installing xorg/X11 is another matter. -- Quality is free, but only for those who are willing to pay heavily for it. - Tom Demarco, "Peopleware" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org
