Hello, just in: openSUSE has been accepted as mentoring organization for this year's Google Summer of Code: http://code.google.com/soc/2008/suse/about.html Now starts a week long period during which would-be student participants can discuss applications ideas with mentoring organizations. If you're not a stu- dent we're still interesting to hear ideas on what students could work on.
