Hi there,
I have backed up the home folder of my pc to some tar.gz files. The files are 3.6GB altogether. I burned them on a DVD using K3b. K3b debug logs don't show nothing wrong but the actual size of the files when I browse to the DVD is only 38MB! Could anybody please help me to figure out what's going on?
My k3b is 0.11.12 using KDE 3.2.1 on SuSE 9.1 Pro.
I beleive k3b builds the iso first? Do you have large file support enabled? I worry because I am looking to buy a burner and have a dd of a 6gig winblows partition for emergency ghosting. I dont want that to shrink to the size of a floppy. -- +-----------------<<<<<<<CWSIV>>>>>>>----------------+ | | | | \ /|\ || |\ / |~~\ /~~\ /~~| //~~\ | | | \ / | \ || | X |__/| || |( `--. | | |__ | | \| \_/ / \ | \ \__/ \__| \\__/ | | | +~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~+
