Any other KDE3 users able to notice this apparent sleeping of the session?
I haven't switched to a tty long enough to put my desktop to sleep before coming back, however, that sounds like what you are experiencing. It should just wake up normally and provide you with the unlock dialog and your session should not have 'suspended'? Is there anything in the journal that would indicate that a suspend was attempted? KDE shouldn't care what tty you are on, unless you have configured suspend on a timeout within KDE. Anything you can add there? -- David C.
