I tested installing tomcat on a brand new 13.1 system. The following
errors were reported:
( 5/131) Installing: jakarta-commons-pool-1.3-107.1.3 .....[done]
...
(100/131) Installing: apache-commons-collections-3.2.1-3.1.5 .....[done]
...
(106/131) Installing: jakarta-commons-dbcp-1.2.2-108.1.6 .....[done]
...
(126/131) Installing: tomcat-lib-7.0.42-4.1.5 .....[done]
Additional rpm output:
/usr/bin/build-jar-repository: error: Could not find
commons-collections-tomcat5 Java extension for this JVM
/usr/bin/build-jar-repository: error: Could not find
commons-dbcp-tomcat5 Java extension for this JVM
/usr/bin/build-jar-repository: error: Could not find
commons-pool-tomcat5 Java extension for this JVM
/usr/bin/build-jar-repository: error: Some specified jars were not
found for this jvm
The "tomcat5" in there smells obsolete....
