It's running on Leap 42.3 with php5 and mariadb 10.2.31, login+register do not yet work, but it looks like everything is being displayed correctly. Which is a major step forward. ... Looks good to me. Checked EN, NL, DE and the encoding seems to be OK.
As I already mentioned on IRC two days ago - I'm afraid it isn't that easy. Per's temporary instance looked good on the first page, but not on the last page. You can even see this on the live instance in Provo: The first page of one of the german subforums looks good: https://forums.opensuse.org/forumdisplay.php/847-Installation-Administration but old posts have broken encoding: https://forums.opensuse.org/forumdisplay.php/847-Installation-Administration... This means the database contains a mix of encodings, probably depending on the date. Fixing that will be funny[tm], see my mail from tuesday for details. If someone knows a script to fix the encoding in half of a database, please speak up ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz --
It is a pity that [Tumbleweed] fails to continue quickly after an openSUSE upgrade [...] A "pity"? That's a good one, you now owe me a beer for complaining :) [Erwin Van de Velde and Greg KH in opensuse-factory]
