[opensuse-factory] Status: Distribution
Hi, The update to latest qt, kde and python at the same time was a bit too much, but the FTP tree building atm should have it all, in any case watch out for problems when you DUP. Next step is kernel 2.6.36-rc3 and a new round of Xorg updates (including xeyes 1.1!) Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I didn't say the currently published tree is fine, but that the one building right now should be better. And don't open bug reports for such things, they can always happen. Just be careful with the answers you give to zypper. That said, what's the best way to know when such a rebuilt tree is available to us on download mirrors? I might just have missed something, but it's somewhat unclear to me how to best deal with those things. That said, X from the X11:Xorg and kernel 2.6.36-rcX from Kernel:HEAD seem to work fine, so looking forward to see them on Factory, though I have some strange font artifacts happening recently, I hope those will go away with further updates. You can look at http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/media.1/build to see the build number and wait till it's > 717 (or check media.1/media for a build time). The syncing to the mirrors is going on all the time, so when you start updating, it's easily possible that you get the first files from download.o.o itself and during the update mirrors become available. If you want to avoid that, check your favorite mirror's build number. E.g. click through the top mirrors on http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss/media.1/build?mirrorlist Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
