What version of dbus are you using? I don't know if this is the source of the problem... but I do know there were dbus issues that would make Dolphin crash in earlier versions of KDE4... maybe this is a resurface...??

I just installed 11.4 Milestone 1 of 6 64-bit, and the cut/copy and paste works well.

The dbus version:
