[opensuse-factory] Tumbleweed: Issues with kernel-desktop 3.11.1-29 and systemd-remount-fs service
After upgrading kernel-desktop from -28 to -29 my boot is halting with journalctl reporting that the systemd-remount-fs service couldn't find the UUID of my root partition on the disk. This service works fine with -28 and all other kernels previously. Has anyone else seen this bug? Might be an issue with my SSD firmware as well. Going to be doing an update, will advise. On Saturday, September 28, 2013 11:32:28 PM Matthew McKeen wrote:

Not an issue with the firmware. Any ideas? On Saturday, September 28, 2013 11:49:27 PM Matthew McKeen wrote:

It's an mkinitrd issue with btrfsprogs, see the archives for how to fix this by "hand" for now until it's fixed properly in the repo. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I am not sure it is the same cause, but I got the message from apper that there were around 1350 packages to update in my 13.1 B1 system, so I did. Now the system starts up very slowly and finally I get the log in screen. So I log in. I got the icons for starting up a KDE session, after that the screen remains black. I can go to the console with Ctrl+Alt+F1 and login, but "init 3" hangs the system. -- fr.gr. No, completely different issue. 13.1 b1 issue is with dbus version -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
