Hello,
I got the same error too.
@Patrick: If you don't mind my asking, is that all you do when installing
the nvidia driver from the nvidia site? Nothing else?
"I am using NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-387.22.run from nvidia w/o a problem.
sh ./NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-387.22.run -aqs --install-libglvnd
but iiuc "--install-libglvnd" should no longer be necessary."
Thanks.

Hi,
Looks like it's kind of broken, I did an update to 4.14, and got: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1069408
I have nvidia-gfxG04 from the nvidia repos and stuff... :)
Damned.. me too.. :(
