Yes, it is from the NVIDIA repository. I did not think that SUSE packaged the NVIDIA drivers because of licensing things.

I thought that there were two options: 1) Install then yourself via the NVIDIA installer (must be done by hand and kept up to date that way), or 2) install from the NVIDIA repository. I have always used method 2.
Yes, when using option 2 it's recommended to just add the repository via YaST by selecting it as one of our Community repos. With that you'll end up with one of repos below https://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/15.2 https://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/leap/15.3 https://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/tumbleweed Seems you've found the CUDA repos by nvidia, where they also provide driver RPMs (in addition to the CUDA RPMs) but based these on different sources. http://developer.download.nvidia.com/compute/cuda/repos/ Unless you need CUDA I suggest to switch to the opensuse repositories above.
