Hello,

Do you really have somewhere to scp from? my torrent for ppc has managed exactly 0 chunks so far, time left "infinity" :-(
No, and PPC seems to be kept back with a reason. It does not boot on my machines...
I thought you were probably joking - just making sure! As you say though, PPC is very much the pauper at the feast. Factory seems rarely to be usable and even the releases seem frequently to be broken. If / when I manage to download it I'll try to wind it up on an old iMAC, and if that looks encouraging (!) possibly also on an embedded system that I have at work.
Those for x86 and -64 aren't exactly screaming either, but have managed some data transfer and share ratio ~ 0.5 atm.
Yesterday evening somebody was downloading with 4.5MB/s from me alone, and all together the 100Mmbps of the machine was maxed out :-) Now there are too many users, so I seed slower...

Those are generous share ratios! I'm at work, so I can't see how my home system is getting on. I know, I could ssh in, but I keep the firewall locked shut. Doesn't help seeding torrents either, but makes me feel safe(r). One day I'll put a machine in the DMZ and use for this sort of thing, then maybe open the door a little. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
