Yes. I proposed creating or choosing a single display manager customized for openSUSE and fully tested to work with all desktops. Preferably neither requiring the KDE nor the Gnome stacks, so having a small memory footprint. With the current situation, say you choose KDE as default, then install all the other desktops as patterns, you get one display manager. If you choose another default, the DM changes. And some do not work well with other desktops, some have missing features.
