I tried FF 59 that came with Leap 15, as opposed to 52.7.3 (ESR) that is packages for 42.3. 59 is basically unusable for me without stepping through about:config and tweaking settings individually. Further given the changes between 52-59, many of the addons are poorly re-written and cumbersome (NoScript 10 is a perfect example)
I don't know how difficult it would be to make ESR available as an alternative, but it would be welcomed.

Due to need for web development and other reasons, I've needed multiple versions not only installed, but open at the same time, and thus have been primarily using mozilla.org's static (Mozilla/SeaMonkey/Firefox) builds more than 17 years. -- "Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom.
