Did you use YaST to activate NetworkManager?
Yes, of course. Once I've restartet knetworkmanager, it works as expected and I can use it to start a UMTS connection.
Okay, I thought about https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591703 that gave me no NetworkManager after installing M7 on a laptop. I had to activate it and to start it manually after installation and again after the first boot. Finally, it starts automatically.
Changing the Autostart entry solved this problem. However there is another problem . If I suspend to disk, networkmanagement is disabled after the resume sometimes. And I have to reboot the system to enable it again -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
