Which firmware? Even the wireless firmware packages are in oss.
And on LiveCDs? 11.0 GNOME LiveCD doesn't contain them :/ .
Jakub, Live CD has the same structure as installed system, so boot computer with Live CD and look for firmware in /lib/firmware/ directory . If your hardware is working with that one it should work with the same kernel in installed system. In case there is nothing, install it using 11.0 non-oss repository. While installed stuff will disappear when you turn computer off, it will at least tell you does your hardware work with openSUSE provided drivers and firmware. BTW, 11.0 has nothing to do with a Factory for a quite some time. If you have more questions please use opensuse@opensuse.org mail list for 11.0 and earlier versions. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
