Hi,
Just for your information, I just filed https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=582222 as I can't boot any of the kernels compiled for Factory in the last few days, possibly due to gcc 4.5 and possibly due to using reiserfs as the root partition. Note that all causes are speculation right now. I can boot the last kernel from before the gcc switch fine, so things point in that area, though.
If someone else runs into that problem, it would probably be good to get more data on the bug as to how to reproduce this, I hope some knowing developer will find a way to reproduce, debug and fix it.
Thanks for the report. This is probably better reported on the opensuse-kernel list, though. I happen to be on both lists (and a few others) but it's not guaranteed to always reach everyone who needs to see it. - -Jeff - -- Jeff Mahoney SUSE Labs -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.13 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iEYEARECAAYFAkuD/QEACgkQLPWxlyuTD7IuCgCfUghFHAfppzwKpO4ckdDlGqH/ BFwAn2QG+HH1NwUWeKPtshLIb2pI8XDf =gpJe -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
