Warning: it can be legit... Imagine coolo; asking him to take 1 hour a day for mentoring... to help a potential maintainer and at the end of 3 months everyone realizes it was a wasted effort. People like him hold the world on their shoulders, 1 hour is probably asking too much already ;)
