I want to use my list of repositories that I've currently got setup on one box to another (so I don't have to do all that typing). What do I need to copy over from one machine to another so that I can use machine #1's list of repos to update machine #2?
a zypper lr --export myrepos.repo in the source machine.
copy myrepos.repo to the target machine, and then
zypper ar -r myrepos.repo
done ;)
HTH,
Thanks...I tried this and on import on the 2nd machine I got:
Unexpected exception Url scheme is a required component Pleae file a bug report about this --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
While you are hampered by the bug, you can also do it the old fashioned way: become root cd /etc/zypp/repos.d tar czvf myrepos.tar.gz *.repo copy to new machine /etc/zypp/repos.d tar xzvf myrepos.tar.gz
