Also this is how things work in HP-UX: They add patches to the media which contains the products. Installation will (by default) automatically select the patches maching the products being installed. That way you get the patches in as early as can be. Also, you can just have a copy of your software media somewhere, add the latest patches to that directory, and whenever installing from that directory, you'll get the latest patches automatically installed. Despite of problems the software management had in it's early stages, it works quite well now. Regards, Ulrich
