updateTestcase files are filling /var/log. They appear to be generated when "zypper ref;zypper dup" is ran.
Is there some control over this generation or do I need to write a script to rm the files after a time?

This is also irritating me, a new one appears for every dependency that needs resolving when zypper dup is used even if you cancel before the dup is actually performed. I suppose it needs a bug report if someone hasn't already made one.
Yes, it's annoying for Factory users. We're working on making it configurable, hold on.
JFYI: libzypp 6.10.3 writes the updateTestcase only if you commit, no longer on each attempt. One of the next versions will also cleanup old testcases according to some config option that tells how many testcases to keep. -- cu, Michael Andres +------------------------------------------------------------------+ Key fingerprint = 2DFA 5D73 18B1 E7EF A862 27AC 3FB8 9E3A 27C6 B0E4 +------------------------------------------------------------------+ Michael Andres YaST Development ma@novell.com SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) Maxfeldstrasse 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany, ++49 (0)911 - 740 53-0 +------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
