So, applications and packages *are* the same thing? I can only guess I've seen the Firefox application get installed and uninstalled over a hundred times. (Hint: on most here, MozillaFirefox is not installed, while firefox-esr is.) Translated, what I wrote amounts to there's nothing any mere mortal user can or needs to do about those messages besides ignore them, while those less mortal might be able to help get the bugs fixed. :-p ...
