Also does any one know what can cause broken packet to cause a network to collapse?
Can you give more details if this is still a problem?
No, that's all networking has told us
I have a recollection of facing this problem before...
We have and its always been down to loop back/faulty cabling. Kids taking a fly lead and connecting two outlets together or similar. If sure all the hardware is definitely Ok, don't know. Would have thought networking might have come across this before. -- Ian Ofqual Accredited IT Qualifications A new approach to assessment for learning www.theINGOTs.org - 01827 305940 You have received this email from the following company: The Learning Machine Limited, Reg Office, 36 Ashby Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 8AQ.
