: hit a bit of a road block with our roll out of suse for education.
We need to have a strong and valid argument from some where else to show that other are actually using it.
I would like close to complete studies, with as many "big names" so it can't be just dismissed.
Hi,
I'm just completing a 1000 word case study on the Skegness Grammar school FOSS roll out. It should be on the schoolforge.org.uk site within a couple of days. There are some other case studies there. I will do a pretty pdf of it.
Pretty PDFs good :)

Also does any one know what can cause broken packet to cause a network to collapse?
Can you give more details if this is still a problem?
No, that's all networking has told us
I have a recollection of facing this problem before...

We have and its always been down to loop back/faulty cabling. Kids taking a fly lead and connecting two outlets together or similar. If sure all the hardware is definitely Ok, don't know. Would have thought networking might have come across this before. -- Ian Ofqual Accredited IT Qualifications A new approach to assessment for learning www.theINGOTs.org - 01827 305940 You have received this email from the following company: The Learning Machine Limited, Reg Office, 36 Ashby Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 8AQ. If the attached will help, please use it. It is the discussion document that helped Skegness Grammar School convert to Linux. It is somewhat out of date but the points made are still important. Regards Garry
