Just wanted to say I'm on the list now. Hope things are going well here
in Contrib.

Hi,
By de-digesting the FreshMeat [fm] digest, I have found the (apparently)
new version 2.22.2 of your package gengetopt. (Old version last
notified/in tree was 2.22.1).
(This is just for your information. You decide whether to upgrade a package or
not.)
Extra Information:
[017] GNU GENGETOPT 2.22.2
Project Tags: Software Development, Utilities
Description:
GNU gengetopt takes a simple description of
arguments and generates a C function that
uses the GNU getopt_long(3) function to
parse and validate the options. It is perfect if
you are too lazy to write all that is required to
call getopt_long(3), or need to use many
options. The generated code also works with
autoconf or automake.
Changes:
Further compilation warnings for generated files were removed. A
compilation problem for files generated with --include-getopt with some
versions of stdlib.h was fixed. The dependency on the flex library
(which generated problems in compilation in Open Solaris) was removed.
PACKAGE_NAME, if defined, is used for printing help and version. The
configure option --docdir is now used, if specified for installing
documentation.

Hi,
By de-digesting the FreshMeat [fm] digest, I have found the (apparently)
new version 0.9.0 of your package grsync. (Old version last
notified/in tree was 0.6.3).
(This is just for your information. You decide whether to upgrade a package or
not.)
Extra Information:
[019] GRSYNC 0.9.0
Project Tags: Archiving, backup, Mirroring
Description:
Grsync is a GUI for rsync, the command line
directory synchronization tool. While it can work with remote hosts, its
focus is to synchronize local directories.
Changes:
The project has been converted from Glade 2 to 3 with GtkBuilder. Some
deprecated GTK+ calls have been removed, and GTK+ 2.16 is now required.
Many lines of code have been removed. An acceptable way to make the
rsync window resizable despite the presence of an expander was found. A
"fast rsync scrolling" preferences switch was added along with an extra
"on rsync error only" option to limit the execution of the "after"
command and a "Notes" session field.
Release Tags: Stable, Major feature enhancements

Hi guys,
We're looking at moving Gwibber (Twitter app, used by a number of the
GNOME team) to Contrib. It uses a few python packages currently
packaged in devel:languages:python and we wondered whether you would
push them to Contrib?
They are:
python-egenix-mx-base
python-feedparser
python-simplejson
python-distultils-extra
Many thanks
James
