I took the freedom to forward the announcement of Stephan to this list here, as I am rather sure not everybody here, who is maintaining packages for
Contrib, is also subscribed to -packaging ML.
So: in general I would say this means we should clean up the Contrib / GCC44 staging as well for that date ;)
the stats do not look that bad: there are only 9 failed packages (one is actually even mine)
