Hi, By de-digesting the FreshMeat [fm] digest, I have found the (apparently) new version 1.2 of your package paperkey. (Old version last notified/in tree was 1.1). (This is just for your information. You decide whether to upgrade a package or not.) Location: Extra Information: [027] PAPERKEY 1.2 Project Tags: Security, Cryptography Description: A reasonable way to achieve a long term backup of OpenPGP (GnuPG, PGP, etc) keys is to print them out on paper. Due to metadata and redundancy, OpenPGP secret keys are significantly larger than just the "secret bits". In fact, the secret key contains a complete copy of the public key. Since the public key generally doesn't need to be backed up in this way (most people have many copies of it on various keyservers, Web pages, etc), only extracting the secret parts can be a real advantage. Paperkey extracts just those secret bytes and prints them. To reconstruct, you re-enter those bytes (whether by hand or via OCR), and paperkey can use them to transform your existing public key into a secret key. Changes: Output files are now generated with more restrictive permissions. Minor documentation changes were made. gnulib was refreshed. Tasks before branching Contrib for 11.2

Hello! It seems that everybody agree (or at least nobody disagree) with freezing and branching Contrib repository on Fri, Oct 30. [*] So everybody who maintains some packages in Contrib should: - Consider updating your packages to latest stable/working upstream versions - Do some testing of the package and fix bugs :) - Check that you are listed as maintainer/bugowner of your packages. If not, please send a mail to this mailinglist and include following information: o package name o name of your obs account o what is wrong (I'm not maintainer, I'm not bugowner, ...) - Fix packages that do not build. You can ignore build errors for 11.1, but packages that do not build for both Factory/i586 and Factory/x86_64 at time of the freeze will not be pushed to openSUSE:11.2:Contrib. If you want to include some packages to openSUSE:11.2:Contrib, please submit the request as soon as possible.
