Despite patch in 2016, bug closed was for german language, but bug is present in 2018 for French locale.
This bug report was explicitly about missing german translations, and this got fixed. I'm therefore closing this again. For french, there's bug#1086068 anyway. But last time I looked, the French translations were completely missing upstream. (In reply to Aurelien Oudelet from comment #3)
Same plasmoid in Kubuntu has 100% text translated in French in latest edition.

You can use it in openSUSE as well if you want, but you have to uninstall plasma5-pk-updates then. (that's an artificial conflict added on purpose, as it doesn't really make sense to have two update applets/notifiers installed) No idea how well it works (with PackageKit) though, for Kubuntu/Debian there's a specific apt backend AFAIK. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
