You can use it in openSUSE as well if you want, but you have to uninstall
plasma5-pk-updates then. (that's an artificial conflict added on purpose, as it
doesn't really make sense to have two update applets/notifiers installed)

No idea how well it works (with PackageKit) though, for Kubuntu/Debian there's
a specific apt backend AFAIK.
