When selected gdm as the display manager, gnome shell segfaults before even displaying the login screen. I get a frozen screen instead, but can switch back to the console. Ok. PLease try with latest NVIDIA driver version (RPMs just landed on NVIDIA's server) and provide the result when running nvidia-bug-report.sh.
I'm not sure I can use the RPMs you mentioned - I'm running TW and build my own using osc based on the X11:Drivers:Video project. After a fresh install of 367.44 I did the following: - changed DISPLAYMANAGER in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager to "gdm" - restarted ( which results in the GDM "oops" screen ) - restarted displaymanager - which resulted in a blank frozen screen - ran nvidia-bug-report.sh ( result attached ) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
