thank you for your report, can you please check if this problem still exists in the current version? (Beta 1 was released today).

Strings regarding the "Virtual Globe" have last been modified on the 10th September, however the strings "Education" has not been changed been changed recently, so that might indeed be a bug.

Karl: Can you try to investigate this? I just recently upgraded to oS 12.3 and I have the same problem here: Education is not translated in the K-Menue, even though every appearance of this string is translated in our i18n-svn.

Can you please check /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/desktop_translations.mo on your Factory or 13.1 beta installation? For better readability, install gettext-tools and run:

msgunfmt /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/desktop_translations.mo | less

and search for "Education".
