http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1002361 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1002361#c1 --- Comment #1 from Mike Garcia <mgarci@miamidade.gov> --- I'm testing this from Tumbleweed. The first time I tried, I got the same delay. However, after trying a couple things, the ews setup worked on Tumbleweed. - rebooted, cleared out .config/evolution, .local/share/evolution - opened firefox and chrome to https://myhost.miamidade.gov/EWS/Exchange.asmx - after prompted to login, browser displays XML Services.wsdl - now 'Fetch URL' worked fine and the ews setup continues successfully. I'm planning to test this workaround on the beta. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Tried: rm -rf ~/.local/share/evolution ~/.config/evolution ~/.cache/evolution reboot firefox open https://myhost.miamidade.gov/EWS/Exchange.asmx chrome open https://myhost.miamidade.gov/EWS/Exchange.asmx got the XML Services.wsdl after login prompt package versions: (1/5) Installing: libeews-1_2-0-3.20.5-1.1.x86_64 ........................[done] (2/5) Installing: libmspack0-0.5-5.3.x86_64 ..............................[done] (3/5) Installing: libewsutils0-3.20.5-1.1.x86_64 .........................[done] (4/5) Installing: evolution-ews-3.20.5-1.1.x86_64 ........................[done] (5/5) Installing: evolution-ews-lang-3.20.5-1.1.noarch ...................[done] -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

After the timeout message, one can continue with the setup successfully, without the OAB URL being populated. Some users may interpret the timeout as a severe error and cancel the setup entirely. In the debug output, it appears that libews is not able to authenticate to the host URL. It never presents the user with a login prompt for credentials. It tries several times to authenticate and finally gives up: < HTTP/1.1 401 Unauthorized < < You do not have permission to view this directory or page. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
