http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1203193 Bug ID: 1203193 Summary: Random webpage loading very slow or indefinitely since Firefox 104 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Firefox Assignee: factory-mozilla@lists.opensuse.org Reporter: groguko36@pm.me QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Since Firefox 104, some webpages can take a few minutes to load or indefinitely. Sometimes refreshing the webpage after a few minutes can help, but not always. The problem happen randomly and doesn't seem to only affect a particular website. I have created a new Firefox profile and the issue persists. I also use Librefox (a fork of Firefox) and it doesn't have the same problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Like REALLY. Start with firing up the dev tools and observing the network. Also wireshark http/https traffic. You really want to look at possible DNS, network, IPv6 fallback issues. Also local issue related to... well anything really. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I still can't find the cause. I don't even know where to start debugging these kinds of problems. I noticed that after clearing the cache it helped with some websites, but it might be placebo. :D I will try using a fresh install and go from there. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

The weird part is, that the addon doesn't cause trouble on Windows at least as far as I can tell, but disabling it on Tumbleweed instantly made pages which war stuck loading to finish. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
