When not using aoss/dmix but snd_pcm_oss instead, the sound comes out alright. A quickly hacked-up version of strace shows that ut99 executes these sound-related ioctls when using snd_pcm_oss: ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_SETFRAGMENT, in={65547} out={65547}) = 0 ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_RESET, 0) = 0 ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_SETFMT or SOUND_PCM_READ_BITS, in={S16_LE,} out={S16_LE,}) = 0 ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_CHANNELS or SOUND_PCM_READ_CHANNELS, in={2} out={2}) = 0 ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_SETFRAGMENT, in={65548} out=0xffffafa4) = -1 EINVAL (Invalid argument) ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_SPEED or SOUND_PCM_READ_RATE, in=0xa5e3390 out={22050}) = 0 ioctl(50, SNDCTL_DSP_GETOSPACE, in={4100806652} out={2}) = 0 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
