Please compare with bug 561646 (attachment 333558) referenced above.
Do you see a kernel panic on console 10?
Are there some remote file systems or iscsi, ... volumes in use at
the time of the shutdown?
Please enable sysrq (ENABLE_SYSRQ="yes" in /etc/sysconfig/sysctl) via
echo "1" > /proc/sys/kernel/sysrq
Please use Alt-SysRQ + ? (Alt-Print + ? keys) to show usage info and
then dump some informations using:
Alt-SysRQ + S
Alt-SysRQ + L
Alt-SysRQ + P
Alt-SysRQ + W
and then
Alt-SysRQ + S, Alt-SysRQ + S, Alt-SysRQ + U, Alt-SysRQ + B
to shutdown as clean as possible when the system hangs and attach the
/var/log/messages file that should contain the sysrq outputs.
