http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1020283 Bug ID: 1020283 Summary: Boot hung using kernel 4.9.3 in TW snapshot 20170116 - not yet released snapshot Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: x86-64 OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel Assignee: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: robby.engelmann@igfs-ev.de QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 710334 --> http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=710334&action=edit hwinfo.txt I upgraded this morning to the next upcoming snapshot of TW. I saw the KDE and crypt-setup tests mainly passed in openqa and wanted to give the new systemd a try. However, booting into kernel 4.9.3 results in black screen at the point where I should give my passphase for the lvm-luks crypt-setup of my machine. I only see a blinking cursor and cannot do anything. See attachment for hwinfo. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
