That the usb backend does no longer find the printer
after suspend and resume matches perfectly to what I wrote
in comment #7 ("no longer possible to connect to the USB printer").
The exact bug description is therefore:
"The CUPS usb backend does no longer find a USB printer
after suspend to disk and resume."
But currently I have no idea what the root cause is
why it does no longer find it.
Klaus or Christian,
do you have an idea what might have changed in the
USB system after suspend and resume which could cause
that the CUPS usb backend does no longer find a printer?
