http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1088317 Bug ID: 1088317 Summary: [doc] Update "common" FS to ext4 instead of ext2 Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 42.3 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Documentation Assignee: fs@suse.com Reporter: afogl001@members.fsf.org QA Contact: fs@suse.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- 13.12.1.3 File Systems https://doc.opensuse.org/documentation/leap/startup/html/book.opensuse.start... VERY MINOR but in the description for the -t option, it reads "Specify the file system, commonly ext2 for Linux hard disk". I think it could be argued that ext4 would be the new standard for the most common file system for Linux hard disks. I'm sure one could argue XFS as well but either way, I think ext2 is not seen very often anymore. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
